Fresh Pork-leg in 5 Spice Sauce / KHAN MOO PE-LO


Fresh pork leg 800 gr. Garlic 10 cloves Coriander roots 3 roots 5 Spice powder 1 tsp. Pepper corns 20 each Dark soy sauce 1 tsp. Light soy sauce 2 tbsp. Ingredients for sauce : Yellow chilies 2 pcs. Coriander root 1 root Garlic 10 cloves Salt 1 tsp. vinegar 2 tbsp.

Place all ingredients in a pressure cooker and enough water to cover the pork leg. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes over medium heat, allow it to cool ( at least for 10 minutes) before opening. Remove the bones from the pork leg, place the meat and the liquid in serving dish and sprinkle with chopped coriander greens. Serve with the sauce as below. Place all ingredients of the sauce in a mortar, pound them to a liquid paste and serve in a bowl at the side.
