Fried rice with Shrimp Paste / KHAU KLAP KAPI


Cooking rice 3 cups Minced garlic 1 tbsp. Shrimp paste 1 tbsp. Water 1 tbsp. Sugar 1 tsp. Fish sauce 1 tbsp. Shallots sliced thin 4 tbsp. Egg 1 piece Cooking oil 1 cup Fried dried shrimp 3 tbsp. Coriander plant, chopped 1 plant Chili sliced thin 1 piece Lettuce 1 plant limes 2 pcs.

Fry the garlic in a work, mix 1 tbsp. water with the shrimp paste and add to the pan. Add the sugar and fish sauce and reduce the heat. Add the rice and stir to mix well, then remove from the wok. Beat the egg. Place 1 tbsp. oil in a wok and heat. When the wok is hot, spread the oil , pour in the egg, and spread it in a thin layer over the wok. When set well, remove from the wok, roll up, and cut into thin slices. Dip portions of the rice onto plates, ad egg, sweet pork, dried shrimp and shallots. Serve with lettuce, spring onion, wedges of lime and chili. Methods for sweet pork : Mix the pork and the garlic. Fry the pork in the cooking oil until the pork is just done. Add the fish sauce, dark soy sauce and sugar, stirring regularly. Add the water. Cover the wok and simmer until the water is dried. Remove from heat.
