Serves 4 person
Ham in Coconut Sauce / LOON HAMM
coconut milk 2 cups
Ham cut into small cubes 1 cup
Fermented rice 1 cup
Salt 1 tsp.
Tamarind juice 3 tbsp.
Palm sugar 1 tbsp.
Minced shallots 1 cup
Chilies cut into short lengths 6 pcs.
Coriander green 2 steams
Place the coconut milk on a pot with the ham and the fermented rice and heat to a boiling. Add salt, tamarind juice and palm sugar to taste, then add the shallots and the chili. When the sauce comes to a boil, remove from heat and sprinkle with coriander leaves.
serve with fresh vegetables, such as cucumbers, cabbage, winged bean, yard-long beans and lettuce |
