Serves 4 persons
Beef Curry Massaman / GAENG MASSAMAN NUEA
Beef top round cubed in 1 � 500 gr.
Coconut milk 900 ml
Cooking oil 40 ml
Massaman curry paste 100 gr.
Peanuts peeled & crushed 60 gr.
Onion sliced 100 gr.
Garlic minced 30 gr.
Red Chili pepper, dry, soaked 6 each
Fish sauce 60 ml
Sugar 40 gr.
Fry the Massaman curry paste with the oil and the beef cubes, add 1 the coconut milk and simmer for 40 – 60 minutes until the meat is soft. Add the roasted peanuts.
Fry the onion and garlic in the same oil. Place the onion, garlic, red peppers in a blender and mix to a smooth paste.
Add the reminding coconut milk to a wok and boil add the beef, the peanuts and the blended paste, and simmer again for 5 – 10 minutes until the Beef is completely soft.
