Spicy Pork, prawn and chicken Salad / YUM SAM SA-HAI


Slices of steamed pork 1 1 cups Slices of steamed chicken 1 1 cups Slices of steamed prawn 1 1 cups Roasted chili paste (name phrik pao) 3 tbsp. Fish sauce 3 tbsp. Sugar 1 tsp. Tamarind juice 2-3 tbsp. Lime juice 1 cup Roasted cashew nuts or peanuts, broken into chunks 1 cup Lettuce plant 1 plant Head cabbage, chopped 1 head Carrot, chopped 1 head

Make the sauce by mixing the roasted chili paste, fish sauce, sugar, and tamarind juice in a pot and heating to a boil. Allow boiling a few moments; then, removing from the heat, add the lime juice, and stir. When the sauce has cooled, add the pork, chicken, and the prawn ; stir to mix thoroughly. Scoop onto a platter, sprinkle with peanuts or cashews and serve with lettuce, carrot and cabbage.
