Serves 4 persons
Spicy Sausages & Ham Salad / YUM SAI-KRONG MOO KAP HAM
Frankfurters 150 gr.
Sliced ham 150 gr.
Roasted cashew nuts 100 gr.
Roasted chili paste 2 tbsp.
Tamarind juice 3 tbsp.
Salt 1 tsp.
Lime juice 1 tbsp.
Onion sliced thin 1 piece
lettuce 1 plant
Cut the sausages diagonally into slices about 1/5 inch think. Cut the ham into strips about 1 inch wide.
Make up the dressing by mixing the roasted chili paste the tamarind juice and salt, bringing a mixture to a boil, and then adding the lime juice before removing from the heat.
Toss the frankfurter, ham, cashews and onion together with the dressing and then spoon onto a bed of lettuce prepared on a platter. Garnish with carrots and chilies and serve with vegetables, such as Chinese cabbage and spring onions.
