Serves 4 persons
Spicy shrimp Salad / GOONG PRAA
Prawns 500 gr.
Hot chilies 5 pcs.
Lemon grass 2 stems
Shallots 3 pcs.
Mint plants 3 plants
Shredded Kafir lime leaves 2 leaves
Lime juice 1 tbsp.
Fish sauce 1 tbsp.
Cabbage

Wash, shell, and devein the prawns. Immerse for a short time in boiling water; prawns should be not quite done.
Slice the chilies, lemon grass and shallots thin.
Pick the leaves from the mint plants. Wash them and then drain.
Toss the prawns with the lime juice and fish sauce. Add the lemon grass, chili, shallot, and Kafir lime leaves and toss to mix. The flavor should be spicy.
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with mint leaves. And serve with cabbage and lettuce.
